Sydney Movement Studio is a fully equipped boutique Pilates studio conveniently located in Bondi Junction. We offer private and semi private Pilates sessions (capped at 3 participants). We offer Pilates Mat, as well as full Pilates studio equipment including Reformer, Trapeze Table, Pilates Chair and Spine Corrector.
What is Pilates?
Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. Originally, it was designed to aid the rehabilitation of casualties in World War 1, and over time became utilized within the dance community. Since then it has grown in popularity and is now recognized as a gentle but effective way to improve strength, flexibility, balance and mindfulness. Emphasis is on breathing and inner core strength, spinal mobility and body awareness.
